Every garden has a story.
And if I were to tell you mine in part began here. In a tiny house at the edge of a blueberry barren, nestled into a wood by a brook with a lone apple tree, well, that would not be untrue.
Fairies believe in Possibilities.
Fairies believe in Wonder.
Fairies believe in Magic.
Fairies delight in Creative Expression and Magical Thinking.

This world is filled with endless possibilities.
As the sun set on Blue Fairy Hill, fairies so charmed by the sight gathered together to dance together in the brilliant colors of light.
They whirled and they twirled, sweetening the blueberries and coloring them blue.
While the next morning a young girl sang songs to the Fairy Folk offering thanks.
Don’t you know…everyone has a Fairyland.
And the first of the fairy folks has entered the garden.
All is as it should be.
Ralphie knows that magic happens in every garden, all one has to do is look.
Due to his large open heart the fairy folk have deemed Ralphie worthy of becoming a true Fairy Dog!
Notice his fairy fine glimmer and glow!
In time he will earn his wings!

Childhood unlike Fairyland (which is a very real and permanent place), is a temporary Kingdom unto itself.
A finite period of time filled with Magical Thinking and Infinite Possibilities.
Where practically anything seems Possible.
As we grow older we tend to loose this magical way of thinking.
Or do we just… forget?
Fairies whispered to me long ago (and I believed them) that if a person retains their childhood wonder and belief in possibilities, well then the portals to Fairyland will remain open to them forever and ever more.

Some Fairy Fun Facts:
William Blake (1757- 1827) was a poet, an engraver, a visionary; prophet and mystic.
William began drawing seriously at the age of 10. At age 14 he apprenticed with a master engraver for 7 years. At age 21 he studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, but was unhappy with the instruction so left to navigate his own course. He later became known for his mastery of illustrative watercolors and poetry.
Today William Blake’s poetry and art work are very much loved and respected by people all around the world.
